STEEL ROLLER SHUTTERS

Our industrial roller shutters are engineered using the latest computer modelling techniques, providing a durable product for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. Our shutters range – LITESPAN, MIDSPAN and WIDESPAN are purpose built to cater for openings from the smallest spring balanced shed door to the largest industrial shutter. Curtains are assembled from roll-formed galvanised steel interlocking slats, and are typically available in two steel thicknesses (governed by door size). Slats are individually replaceable if damaged. This feature along with the additional strength from a slat type door makes them superior to a number of other products offered in the marketplace. A bottom bar is fitted to the lower edge of the curtain along with a neoprene weather strip which forms a weather barrier. Guides are roll-formed galvanised steel, with the choice of standard or wind locked. Although galvanised finish is offered as a standard a powder coated option is also available. Helically wound torsion springs are contained within the barrel to counterbalance the weight of the curtain. Manual operating methods are by spring balanced or manual hand chain. Electrical operation is by compact gearbox with three phase or single phase motorising. In addition to a standard type “A” starter a range of door controllers is offered to provide a wide range of door automation options. A high cycle operation for applications such as car park shutters is also available.
